Saturday, November 30th from 1 to 5pm | Presented by DC Brau & Think Local First DC

Once again on Small Business Saturday, DC Brau Brewing will turn its warehouse into a holiday marketplace as they host the annual Brau Holiday Market along with Think Local First DC from 1pm to 5pm on Saturday, November 30th. Brewery visitors will get the chance to start (and finish) their holiday shopping at more than 40 stalls featuring regionally-made products from some of our favorite craftspeople, while also enjoying great local craft beer, snacks from popular food trucks, and musical entertainment.

“What started off as a way for us to support our friends in the creative community here in DC several years ago has grown into one of our favorite days of the year at the brewery,” says Mari Rodela, DC Brau’s Chief Community and Culture Officer. “DC Brau is all about innovation and community, not to mention great beer, and our Holiday Market celebrates all that and more in one place on Small Business Saturday.”

In the spirit of giving, DC Brau is excited to welcome several of its non-profit community partners, including Think Local First DC, the Historic Bladensburg Main Street, and representatives from Krampusnacht DC, to this year’s Holiday Market. Krampus and “Bad Santa” will be on hand for not-so-traditional holiday pictures and to collect unwrapped new toys and gifts, as well as cash donations, for the National Center for Children and Families (NCCF), a 501(c)(3) organization that helps DC foster children up to 21 years old. There will also be a silent auction featuring limited-edition items to raise additional funds for the NCCF.

Shoppers can fuel up with food from Dangerously Delicious, the BBQ Bus, Captain Cookie & the Milkman, Timber Pizza and The Quarterdeck with entertainment by Old Line Audio and 3 Man Soul Machine. DC Brau will be pouring a selection of flagship and rare brews throughout the day at multiple bars, including the release of this year’s edition of Wake Up in the Future barrel-aged Imperial Stout. Brewery tours will not be available that day due to the Holiday Market, but the tasting room will be open until 6pm for growler fills, to go cans and cases, and cool DC Brau merchandise.

There is no cover to attend, but guests are asked to reserve tickets via Eventbrite. All ages are welcome, but due to expected crowd size, the organizers ask that all four-legged friends remain at home. Parking will not be available in the brewery’s lot, so guests are strongly encouraged to use ride-sharing services or public transportation in lieu of driving (please designate a driver if you do though).
