Residents of the District of Columbia did not receive the right to vote in Presidential elections until the 23rd amendment was ratified in 1961. To this day, Washingtonians still don’t have full voting rights in congress. This lack of representation makes it even more imperative the voices of DC residents are heard on November 3rd!
